Bowstring was opened in July of 2020 by three local Raleigh residents at one of the most challenging times in the history of the hospitality industry. Through everything, the Raleigh community rallied and showed up to our spot in droves, as we quickly became one of the most popular bars and venues in the city. We have continued to build and evolve the space to accommodate national touring acts, several hundred person private events, and community-led fundraisers. We believe we have done so without losing the spirit and hometown feel of a neighborhood bar. All are always welcome at Bowstring!
